For 2023 The London Classic Car Show returned to the beautiful Olympia exhibition centre in Kensington London. The show previously had a special event in Syon House in 2021 during the pandemic.

The show celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette, at least one version with every mark present for the show. Also commemorated was the 60th anniversaries of Porsche 911 range and the Mini Cooper S. Particularly special was that show gathered together the 3 remaining Minis that belonged to the Beatles(sadly John Lennon’s one is forever lost).

Friday saw the launch of the upcoming film CLASSIC, with an interview of the cast including Sally Phillips, Tony Pitts, Ronni Ancona and Katherine Kelly. They spoke about the inspiration for the film and how it will be a darkly comic film to make you laugh and cry. The film will be the directorial debuts for both Sally Philips and Tony Pitt. On display was another star of the show a 1974 MG Midget 1300.

The event was a credit to the organisers who put together an eclectic mix of classic cars in challenging times, hopefully 2024 will see the show grow and grow.
